What was the reason for Jehovah permitting Pharaoh’s heart to continue obstinate or hard after every plague that was thrown at him?

Jehovah was trying to make a point. He wanted Pharaoh to see all of the plagues in front of him. That way him and his servants would know that he is Jehovah God.
