Good afternoon. For those in Islamabad, Pakistan, good evening.... Anyway, as I left to lunch, I felt like I was being attacked by a swarm of butterflies. But they weren't there to attack at all! It was pretty cool walking with the little things. I just felt bad for all of those that wandered into traffic and smashed into my windshield.

Moving on, these past weeks have been pretty busy. My grandfather had bypass surgury a while back and there were some complications after the surgury, but he's now doing well back at home. He gave us quite a scare a couple of times, though.

Well, the District Convention is next weekend. And that reminds me of an experience that a circuit overseer told us last night, about one of this year's conventions. In one of these conventions, this experience was given. It started with a 12-year old child who was doing his/her magazine route and at the same time, inviting people to the convention. One of the people on that route, was this man and he asked the little tike about how the brothers get to go, being that they most likely have to work on Friday. Obviously, they ask for it in advance. And the little one added that if they weren't given the day, the brothers will just quit, to be able to attend the convention. Well, this man was kinda like "what?" So he asked if he can take his family to the convention. "Of course!" He ended up taking about 35 members of his family to the convtion, ALL 3 days! This happened up there in Austin, Texas, if I'm not mistaken. Well, that's all for now. You lovely people have a wonderful day.
