Buh-Bye
Well, Kermit and I say farewell to you all. I will continue to post on 1053milesaway.blogspot.com, but I just have this feeling that I won't get to. So this is just in case I don't have time to post anything do to the huge amount of studying I will have to do.

So we'll see how it goes. Take care, watch for the bears, don't stare, if you dare, or just eat a pear, after saying a prayer. This is Roy R. Reyes, signing off.

Clouds w/ No Pattern

I was at the mall a couple of hours ago and looked up, and it wasn't a bird, it wasn't a plane, they were clouds that looked funky.

Two Days Left

Well, two days left and I'm gone for a couple of months. A lot has happened in the last few days, including the unfortunate fact that our internet connection went bye-bye. But now it's back, but obviously I can't write everything that has happened. Like I have mentioned in a previous post, I've had dinners galore for me. It's been good, though. I've got to see many friends and family and say goodbye, for a short time anyway. When I do get assigned, then it'll be a real goodbye with more tears. Even tonigh, all of my immediate family are going to eat at a restaurant. I have so many pictures that I would like to post, but can't. And I will continue to take pictures when I am at the school. I will be posting them, at another website, that is if I have time. It is:

1053milesaway.blogspot.com.

[Yes, I looked it up on the web to see how far Daytona Beach is from San Antonio and it's 1,053 miles away, hence the site address.]

..... I know I wanted to write something else, but can't remember at the moment. :(

Well, until tomorrow.

My Last Day

Well, this is my last day of work. After 6 years and 4 months, the game is over. And it's time to start another one. It's been interesting and fun there. Being that I work with 12 women, again, it's been interesting. And educational, I guess. (That's what they tell me.) But I need to move on, do what I need to do.

I came an hour earlier to work to eat with a couple of sisters that work here as well as another that used to work here and my mom. Then I came into the department and there was another party for me with cake and balloons and the flashing of the cameras. Then tomorrow I will have a dinner to go to. Then Sunday I am going to a barbecue that a brother from the congregation is going to do. Then next Thursday, being my last bookstudy with the brothers, they will make me a dinner after the study. Next Saturday, some of us will be having a little get-together. Then next Sunday, I am going to another dinner. So, I guess, the brothers want me to go a little more fuller to the school that I'm going to, which is good. I need that. :) Anyway, I will miss everyone greatly.

My last post here is coming soon. It will probably be on January 23, the day before I leave to Florida. On that day, I will post the link to a new website where I will be posting pictures from over there and related stuff. I know I will be super duper kuper nooper pooper busy and I hope I can at least post something, since it doesn't take but about 2 minutes to do it. Well, that's it for now. Have a great day and watch out for gorillas in pink ballerina costumes prancing around chanting "I'm a pretty princess. I'm a pretty princess."....

Wonderful Word #2

Duplicitous (dū-plĭs'ĭ-tuhs), adjective:
1. Given to or marked by deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech.

[Well, actually it's not a 'good' word. We never want to be duplicitous or deceiving.... but the word does sound cool.]

The Night Sky on 01.09.06

Sometimes I wish I can take pictures like the way I see the scene with my own eyes. Well, probably with a better camera, but I don't intend to get another one. Anyway, it's so awesome how Jehovah gave us so many beautiful things to see and made our eyes to see them in all their beauty... better than any camera ever can.

The Flower that Won't Wither Away, but REALLY SHOULD!

My mom has a VW Beetle, hence the little version of the car on the dashboard, and has this blue glass flower near the steering wheel. Actually, she should take it off because it's a distraction and just not safe. What if she has to make a hard right and can't turn all the way because of the "flower" and she ends up colliding with a car parallel to her and that car ends up hitting a lamp post or something causing it to fall on unsuspecting victims, injuring them greatly except one of them, a lady, and in a fit of anger, goes to the car my mom hit and takes him out of the car and starts slapping him uncontrollably, when in fact it was my mom's fault, or to be more exact the fake flower's fault. Don't you agree?

"The King"

This commercial is funny. This king creeps me out, though. His ever-so-smiling face is kinda disturbing.
